Komponen kalender terlihat sederhana saat masih demo. Di produksi, ia harus menghadapi akhir bulan, tahun kabisat, daylight saving, zona waktu pengguna, hari tutup, navigasi keyboard, dan respons API yang datang terlambat. Jadi, meminta Claude Code membuat “kalender yang bagus” saja tidak cukup.

Artikel ini membangun kalender booking dengan React dan TypeScript. Nilai date-only adalah tanggal tanpa jam, misalnya 2026-06-02. Zona waktu menentukan arti “hari ini” dan jam slot booking. ARIA adalah atribut yang menjelaskan peran dan status widget kepada teknologi bantu seperti screen reader. Jika tiga hal ini dicampur, pengguna bisa memilih 2 Juni tetapi server menyimpan 1 Juni.

Roving tabIndex membuat hanya tanggal aktif yang masuk urutan Tab. Di dalam grid, tombol panah memindahkan fokus, sehingga pengguna keyboard tidak perlu menekan Tab melewati puluhan tanggal.

Jebakan dan hasil

Pertama, jangan simpan tanggal bisnis dengan toISOString(). Kedua, pisahkan locale dan zona waktu. Locale mengatur bahasa tampilan, zona waktu mengatur arti jam booking. Ketiga, jangan bergantung pada warna saja; tampilkan teks, fokus, dan aria-disabled. Keempat, jangan menunda tes. Mintalah Claude Code sejak awal menguji akhir bulan, hari tutup, pengurutan rentang, dan keyboard.

Jika tim sering membuat kalender, form, dan integrasi API, simpan aturan ini sebagai prompt dan checklist. Produk Claude Code dapat dipakai untuk mengelola template pembuatan komponen, review, pengujian, dan integrasi API.

Saya menempelkan kode ini ke proyek Vite + React + TypeScript dan menjalankannya dengan Vitest serta Testing Library. Pemilihan tanggal tersedia, penolakan tanggal tutup, dan pemilihan rentang dengan keyboard berjalan. Penyesuaian pertama ada pada nama aksesibel: tes harus mencari nama yang benar-benar diterima pengguna, yaitu tanggal plus status. Sebelum rilis, saya akan menambahkan hari libur nyata, validasi server, pesan error, dan batas kapasitas.
